Settings you configure in the App (TikTok username, bar design preferences, colors, text) are stored in our database and as Shopify metafields on your shop.
When the announcement bar is displayed on your storefront, we collect anonymous, aggregated event data:
These events are completely anonymous. We do not collect any personal information about your store visitors — no IP addresses, no cookies, no device fingerprints, no names, no email addresses. Each event is a simple counter increment tied only to your shop domain.

Your configuration data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on a secured server (Hostinger VPS) with SSL encryption for all data in transit. Access to the server is restricted and protected by SSH key authentication.
Shopify access tokens are stored securely and are only used for authorized API calls with the minimum required scopes.
We retain your configuration data for as long as the App is installed on your store. Analytics data (anonymous impression and click counts) is retained for up to 90 days on a rolling basis.
When you uninstall the App, your configuration data and analytics are deleted from our database within 30 days.
